More headcovering craftiness
Yesterday, while browsing around I came across this pattern for those wide headbands that you see around here and there. I decided to give it a try, but to extend the width so that it's deep enough to cover the whole head.
I used a knit fabric, so I didn't need to hem the edges. I cut the large square 16.5 by 15 inches, and it worked!
Behold:
I'm wearing it today (even though I didn't quite finish off all the way! I'm impatient that way.) It's staying put very nicely - I just tucked the back edge under the elastic.
And in other news, birthday cake!
